A continuación gran parte de lo que me escribe mi amigo, literalmente, mas adelante la traducción:

Pedro, I am a Fanatic with catch and release with ROOSTERS!!! However, this Rooster fought like no other Rooster that I have caught!!! I didn't realize it was a Rooster until the very end!! I actually thought it was a shark as you can here me say it a couple of times in the video. At the end of the video the Rooster just floated up as you can see and a wave washed him in. He totally exausted himself with the LONG UNBELIEVABLE SPEED RUNS he made. On the beach He didn't even flop! He wasn't in shock he was unfortunatley dead!
Pedro, Soy un fanatico del C&R con los gallos!!!! Pero en este caso, el gallo lucho como ningun otro que habia capturado!!!! No me di cuenta que era un gallo hasta el final!!! De hecho pense que era un tiburon tan es asi que puedes oirme diciendolo un par de veces en el video. Al final del video el gallo solo flotaba boca arriba y una ola lo volteo. El estaba totalmente exhausto con la increible velocidad que corrio. Ya estando en la playa ni siquiera se sacudio, no estaba en shock.. estaba por desgracia ya muerto.

I read all the comments on your Mexican sight. It upsets me to hear I killed this fish for video and pictures. Or I fought the fish wrong. Everyone seems to be an expert on how to fight fish but the circumstances can be drastically different with each fish especially Big ones! There will always be negative comments no matter who catches or how things are done wrong or the fish lives or dies. However, please tell the people on your sight that I do everything possible to catch and release Roosters! That Fish Fed the entire town that night! They were very excited and very grateful. It helped me ease the pain of killing that magnificent fish that it was consumed by very needy people!
Lei todos los comentarios en tu post del foro mexicano. Me enoja el oir que la gente comenta que mate al gallo por tener el video y por tomarme fotos. O que pelee mal el pez. Cada uno parece ser un experto en como pelear un pez, pero las circunstancias pueden ser drasticamente diferentes con cada pez, especialmente los grandes!. Siempre haba comentarios negativos no importa quien lo pezque o como sean hechas las cosas o si el pez vive o muere. Como sea, por favor dile a la gente de tu post que hago todo lo posible para hacer C&R de gallos!. Ese pez alimento el pueblo entero esa noche. La gente estuvo muy emocionados y muy agradecidos. Eso me ayudo a aliviar el dolor de no poder liberar ese magnifico pez que al final alimento a mucha gente necesitada.

The following day I caught another Big Rooster(maybe 5-8 pounds less then the one on the video) that fought with just pure power with no long runs. It took me 30 minutes to land that one. Took a few quick pictures and then realeased to swim another day! I don't have those pictures yet but will show you them as soon as I get them.
Al dia siguiente pesque otro gallo grande, como 5-8 libras menos que el del video, ese peleo con puro poder sin hacer corridas largas. Me tomo como 30 minitos para tenerlo en la playa. Le tomamos unas rapidas fotos y fue liberado para seguir nadando! No tengo ahorita esas fotos, pero te las enviarie en cuanto las tenga.


Posteriormente le contesto que no hay necesidad de explicarle a  los pescadores del foro puesto que entendieron (tratando de suavizar las cosas) que no siempre se puede salvar el pez a lo que me contesta…

Yes, please explain to the site the way I explained it to you! For sure it won't change all there opinions but maybe a few! Just be sure to tell them ALL of the meat was eaten by a very gracious village!!! However, please tell them I am the kind of person that is always willing to learn and will try to improve myself as a better angler by reading and absorbing there comments.
Si, por favor explica en el sitio tal y como yo te lo explique! De seguro no cambiara las opiniones de todos , pero posiblemente de unos pocos!. Solo asegurate de decirles que TODO el pez fue aprovechado por el poblado!!! Como sea, por favor diles que soy el tipo de persona que siempre esta dispuesto a aprender y siempre tratare de mejorarme como pescador leyendo y absorbiendo esos comentarios.

I keep a log book as I told you on fishing Mexico. As of date I have  caught 78 Roosters. I released all of these successfully except a very few and unfortunately My Biggest to date died.
Como te habia dicho, llevo un Libro de Registro de pesca en Mexico. Al dia de hoy he capturado 78 gallos. He liberado todos satisfactoriamente excepto muy pocos y desafortunadamente el mas grande hasta hoy fue uno de ellos.

Y Finaliza su correo con lo siguiente…

Pedro, until someone meets me and realizes how passionate I am with Roosters they won't know what kind of person I am so people can say what they want and I will try not to get upset but I can truly say that I am strong advocate on catch and release of roosters!!!
Pedro, hasta que alguien me conozca y se de cuenta cuan apasionado soy con los gallos no sabran que tipo de persona soy. La gente puede decir lo que quiera y tratare de no molestarme pero puedo sinceramente decir que soy un fuerte defensor del C&R de los gallos!!!

Bueno señores, esta aclarado como sucedieron las cosas.
